Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) .
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Note 1- The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be as advertised by the Union Public Service Commission. Note 2- Relaxable for Central/UT Government Servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. Essential Qualification (s)	A. EDUCATIONAL- (i) Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science Degree of five and a half years duration from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Post-graduate Degree in Naturopathy from a recognized University or Institute. Note- The qualification(s) are relaxable at the discretion of the U.P.S.C. for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)	Doctorate Degree in Naturopathy from a recognized University or Institute.
Duty(ies)	To examine the matters related to the policies/education/practice/propagation of Yoga & Naturopathy.
Probation	One Year
Headquarters	Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
Other Details	The post of Research Officer (Naturopathy) is permanent. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Level -10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
