| Pay Scale | Level 10 of the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) as per 7th CPC |
| Age | Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL (i) Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a recognised University or institution (ii) Registered as Architect with the council of Architecture under the Architects Act, 1972(20 of 1972) B. EXPERIENCE Experience of three years in Design and construction of buildings and execution of civil works. Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |

(i) Masters of Architecture from a recognized University or Institute or (ii) Master of Arts (Architectural conservation or building conservation) from a recognized University or institute |
| Duty(ies) |
To assist Director (Conservation) in performing the following duties 1. Reviewing the functioning of Deputy Superintending Archaeological Architect 2. Monitoring the preparation of Conservation Plan, Site Management Plan and Condition Appraisal Reports of World Heritage monuments and other monuments 3. Review the design of amenities and other building within monuments 4. Review the DPRs related to conservation and development within/around monuments 5. Review the conservation related estimates of protected monuments 6. To assist in any duties assigned by Director (Conservation) from time to time. To assist Director (World Heritage) in performing the following duties 7. Prepare and review nomination dossiers, State of Conservation (SoC) for Tentative list of monuments and sites 8. To assist in any duties assigned by Director (World Heritage) from time to time. |
