Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-).
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Note 1 The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be as advertised by the Union Public Service Commission. Note 2 Relaxable up to 5 years for Central/U.T. Government servants, as per the orders/ instructions issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	EDUCATIONAL- (i) A degree in Ayurveda of a recognized University/Statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Systems of Medicine recognized under the Indian Medical Council 1970 (48 of 1970). (ii) Enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or a State Register of Indian Medicine. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	Administrative duties involved in running a health institution and clinical duties involved in giving medical treatment to the outpatients of the institution.

Other Details	General Central Services, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non Ministerial. The five vacancies are to be filled up on permanent basis and the remaining four on temporary basis.
