Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level-07 as per 7th CPC
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT Government Servant upto 05 years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   Educational-

(a) Master’s Degree in Ore Dressing or Mineral Processing or Geology or Physics or Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute
Or
(b) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mineral Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognised University or Institute.

Experience - Two years Experience in conducting mineral beneficiation or mineral characterization for beneficiation of various ores and minerals from a recognized laboratory or beneficiation plant.

Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Master of Technology in Mineral Engineering from a recognized University or institution.
Duty(ies)   Carrying out such beneficiation operations in the laboratory of the divisions are required for the formulation of different flow sheets for the upgrading of various low grade ores and minerals.
Probation   02 (Two) year
Headquarters   Head Quarters are in Nagpur (Maharashtra) with service liability anywhere in India.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
