Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 8 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 47600-151100)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   EDUCATIONAL-(a)(i) Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Electronics or Cyber Security or Information Security or Computer Science or Master in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute or

(ii) Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science or Electronics and Communications or Information Technology or Information Security from a recognised University or Institute.
EXPERIENCE-
(b) Two years research experience in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or two years experience in work involving application of Theory of Numbers or Theory of groups or Communication Engineering or Design and Development of Communication Equipment or Crypto system or Software or Cyber Security or Information Security from any recognised institute or organisation or Government organisation or public sector undertakings or statutory or autonomous organisations.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Diploma or Interpretership or Certificate (not less than one year duration) in Foreign Language (Burmese) from a recognized University or Institute.
Duty(ies)   • Organising and carrying out the operational research activities.
• Identification of new problems for research and for initiating expeditious study.
• Training, guidance and supervision of the research staff.
Probation   Two Years

Other Details   General Central Service, Group B’, Gazetted Non- Ministerial, this post is to be filled on permanent basis.
