Post Description

Pay Scale   Level -7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date of application. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Class as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Caste candidate as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL-

Bachelor degree in Vocation or Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institute approved by the University Grants Commission or All India Council of Technical Education

OR
Three years diploma in Automobile or Mechanical or Advanced diploma (Vocational) from a recognized university or institute approved by the Technical Board of Education or All India Council of Technical Education or National Council for Vocational Education and Training.

OR

National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training.

B. EXPERIENCE-
Two years experience in automotive field for Degree holders.
OR
Five years experience in automotive field for Diploma holders.
OR
Seven years experience in automotive field for National Trade Certificate/National Apprenticeship Certificate holders.

Note 1- The candidate eligible for Training officer will also be eligible for Principles of Teaching.

Note 2- Maximum ten percent weightage in marks will be awarded to candidates having National Craft Instructor Certificate or Craftsmen Instructor Training Scheme qualification after acquiring degree or diploma or Craftsmen Training Scheme qualification in the concerned trade.

Note 3- Qualification are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission or Competent Authority for reason to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Note 4- The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission or competent authority, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission or competent authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   They impart training to the trainees. They identify training needs, plan formulate and execute institutional and or on the jobs in service training programmes within the framework of policies of the organizations/Department Aimed at improving personnel efficiency and out-put Advise and assist in development of syllabi programmes, training materials /aids Study policies, procedures, instruments and other related documents. Prepare notes, comments, concerning field problems to modify/ draft Operational instructions. Suggest Suitable speaker/trainers for specific area of training, advice on appropriate training activity, assist evaluation of trainees, as also training programme. Any other work assigned by the officers from time to time.
Probation   02 years
Headquarters   Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, New Delhi but liable to serve All India.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group - B, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
Any Other Conditions   The post is suitable for Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild) only, in PwBD category of Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness.
