| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 30 years for EWS candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 35 years for SC/ ST candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servant upto 05 years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
Educational- B.Tech. or BE or B.Sc. (Engnr.) degree in Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Information Technology or Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology or Electrical Engineering with Telecommunication as a special subject from a recognised University or Institute. Or Master degree in Electronics or Computer Science or Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence or Physics with Electronics or Communication or Wireless or Radio subjects as specialization from a recognized University or Institute. Note - Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) |
03 years’ experience in Radio Communication or Computer Communication or Satellite Communication or Artificial Intelligence or Internet of Things or Cyber Security from Central Government or State Government or Union Territory or Public Sector Undertaking or Statutory or Autonomous organisation. Note - The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. |
| Duty(ies) | The JAD shall be responsible for providing uninterrupted communication at Inter State Police Wireless station situated in the state/UT. Function as Technical/Administrative Officer of the ISPW Station. Responsible to work at Central Workshops at Hqrs, Training Centre, Installation Team and other functional wings of the directorate |
