Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-07 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-) under 7th CPC.
Age	Not exceeding 30 years for Unreserved and EWS candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UTs Govt. Servants upto 5 years as per instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	A. Educational - Bachelor degree in law or integrated degree in law from a recognized university or institution. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	Legal/administrative in nature. Officer has to do prosecution work against companies, in all courts/tribunal of the country.
Probation	Two years.
Headquarters	Headquarters in New Delhi with All India Service Liablity.
Other Details	General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Ministerial. The post is permanent.
