Post Description

Pay Scale   Level 10 (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500) of Pay Matrix Total Emoluments Rs. 56,100 plus D.A. as admissible per month
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central /UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A. Educational-
i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Industrial Hygiene from a recognized University or

ii) Bachelors Degree in Biochemical Engineering from a recognized University.

Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience-
Two years experience in the field of Industrial Hygiene in chemical analysis of samples in a research institution.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Doctorate Degree relevant to essential qualification mentioned above from a recognised University.
Duty(ies)   i. Conducting small independent studies in the field of Industrial Hygiene and helping in major project work.

ii. Assisting in conducting training programs.

iii. Collection of review material pertaining to the activities of the Division.

iv. Assisting in compilation of reports and returns.
Probation   01 (One) year

Note- There shall be a mandatory induction training of at least two weeks duration for successful completion of probations prescribed by the Central Government.
