Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level-07 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44900-142400)
Age   Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 33 years for OBC candidates, 35 years for SC and ST candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   Degree in Electronics Engineering from any recognized University Plus one year experience in the relevant field from a recognized organization.
Or
Master’s Degree in Electronics or in Physics with Electronics as a special subject from any recognized University.
Or
Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (AMIE), Plus one year experience in the relevant field from a recognized organization.
(Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
Or
Degree from the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Plus one year experience in the relevant field from a recognized organization
(Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)

Note
(i) The term recognized organization for 01 year essential experience in the relevant field i.e. Electronics shall include offices of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi Government, Statutory, Autonomous Organization and Companies registered under the Company Act, 2013.
(ii) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
(iii) The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)  
Duty(ies)   Inspection and Quality Assurance of Avionics, Communication, Radar and Air Navigation items during Development, Production & Major Repair & Overhaul.
Probation   02 (Two) years
Headquarters   New Delhi
Other Details   General Central Service, Group B’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The post is permanent.
Any Other Conditions   DGAQA service has All India Service Liability clause. Thus candidates can be posted in those stations where vacancies exist throughout India.
