Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/-) as per pay matrix Total Emoluments – Rs. 44900/- plus DA as applicable per month
Age	Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. (Relaxable for Central/UT Govt. servant upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government). Note- The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as advertised by the UPSC.
Essential Qualification (s)	1. Bachelors’ Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication from any recognised University or institute or Bachelors’ degree with Economics or Statistics or English as a subject and possessing a diploma in Journalism or Mass-Communication of at least one year from a recognised University or institute. Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 2. Three years experience of editing and publishing works in book publishing field in publishing house or Newspaper or News agency or publicity Organisation or Government organisation.
Desirable Qualification (s)	(i) Masters Degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or Economics or Statistics or English from a recognised University or institute. (ii) Experience of working on publishing software, i.e. PageMaker, MS Office, Corel Draw, QuarkXPress or Photoshop.
Duty(ies)	Editing the technical publications Documentation and dissemination of technical literature information. Abstracting technical literature, Printing and Publication.
Probation	Two Years
Headquarters	HQ is in Nagpur (Maharashtra) with service liability Anywhere in India
