| Pay Scale | Pay Level-7 (44,900-1,42,400) as per pay matrix 7th CPC. |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Scheduled Castes candidates and not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government servants upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. Educational- Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University or Institution Note -Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. B. Experience- Two years experience in chemical analysis of ores and minerals from a laboratory recognized as a Research Laboratory by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research or Department of Science and Technology or any other such Government organization carrying out chemical analysis of ores and minerals. Note-The qualifications regarding experience is or are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission, for the reasons to be regarded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes if, at any state of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from the community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them. |
