Post Description
| Pay Scale | Level-11 (67,700-2,08,700/-) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC, Pre-revised, Pay band 3 in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 and Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 Plus Non-practising Allowance. |
| Age | Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 43 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on the normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. | Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL- (i) A recognised Medical Qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 of the said Act. B. EXPERIENCE- (ii) A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Community Medicine with two years experience in the field of Occupational Health, preferably in factories or mines. OR A recognised Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Health or Occupational Health or Public Health with three years experience in the field of Occupational Health preferably in factories or mines. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Services Commission for reasons recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |

| Duty(ies) | To carry out inspections/ enquiries as Inspector of Mines for enforcement of the provisions of Mines act and the subordinate legislations framed under with particular emphasis on welfare/occupational health measures for mine workers. |
