Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-10 of the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-).
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for SC candidates in respect of the number of vacancies reserved for them. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	A. EDUCATIONAL- (i) A recognised Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree qualification included in part-I of the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). OR A recognised Dental qualification obtained upto 01.11.1972 under Part-II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). OR A recognized Dental qualification granted by authority or institution outside India only when granted to a citizen of India upto 13.08.2009 under Part-III of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). OR Any person who is citizen of India possessing foreign qualification and has appeared and passed the Screening Test Examination as per Screening Test Regulation 2009 w.e.f. 13.08.2009. (ii) Should be registered with any State Dental Council or Tribunal in India. (iii) Completion of CRI (compulsory rotating internship)-candidates who may not have completed CRI are also eligible to appear for selection provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment. Note- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Services Commission for reasons recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	Looks after OPD and indoor patients in Safdurjung Hospital & Dr. RML Hospital. 2. Medical attendance with treatment of Central Government employees, member of their families, Central Government Pensioners and other beneficiaries covered by the Central Government Health Scheme. 3. Any other duties that may be assigned to them from time to time.
Probation	One Year
Headquarters	Anywhere in India.
Other Details	General Central service Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial. (All the vacancies are permanent. But the vacancies are filled on temporary basis and the appointees are confirmed/made permanent on satisfactorily completion of period of probation.)
Any Other Conditions	The other conditions of service as laid down in the Dental Post Recruitment Rules, 2019 and other rules in force from time to time.
