Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-)
Age	Not exceeding 35 years for General and EWS candidates as on the normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Note - Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	EDUCATION:- (A) (i) Masters degree in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute. -or- (ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in a Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council. (B) Registered as Nurse and Mid-Wife with Central or State Nursing Council. NOTE:- 1: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE:- 2: The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes if at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	Tutor is responsible for organizing and conduct of the teaching programme in the College of Nursing. Planning for student practical experience, ward assignments, ward teaching programme with the cooperation and collaboration of ward sister. Organization of seminars and regular visits to the hospital wards and departments. She is responsible for maintaining records, registers, leave account etc. of students.
Probation	One year Note- The period of one year shall include successful completion of mandatory training of two weeks duration.
Headquarters	LHMC & Associated Hospitals, New Delhi.
Other Details	General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
