Post Description

Pay Scale	Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/-) plus NPA
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on the normal closing date. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates as on normal closing date in respect of vacancies reserved for them. Note- Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servants upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	EDUCATIONAL- (a) Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science from a recognized University or Institute. (b) Register with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council or Union Territory Veterinary Council. NOTE- The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Desirable Qualification (s)
Duty(ies)	(i) To diagnose and treat Animal patients in O.P.D./I.P.D. (ii) Administration of Veterinary Unit of which he/she is put in-charge. (iii) To perform any other duties assigned by the Medical Officer Health from time to time. HQ Delhi.
Probation	02 years

Other Details	Veterinary Cadre of New Delhi Municipal Council, Category “A”. All the vacancies are permanent.
Any Other Conditions	Private Practice of any kind whatsoever is prohibited, for which non-practicing allowance (NPA) is allowed.
