Pay Scale	Level -10 (Rs. 56100-177500) in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC
Age	Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date of application. Not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidate as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidate as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/ orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)	A. EDUCATIONAL-(a) Masters Degree in Computer application/Computer Science or Master of Technology (M. Tech.) (with specialization in Computer Application) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/Bachelor of Technology (B Tech.) in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/Computer Technology of a recognized University or equivalent OR (b) Degree in Computer Applications/ Computer Science or Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent OR (c) Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent or Degree in Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.OR (d) A Level Diploma under DOEACC (Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses) Programme or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application offered under University Programme/ Post-Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Applications awarded by State Council of Technical Education or equivalent. * DOEACC renamed as NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology). B. EXPERIENCE- 2 years experience of electronic data processing including experience of actual programming with EQ-A(a) OR 3 years experience of electronic data processing work out of which at least 1 years experience should be in actual computer programming with EQ-A(b) OR 4 years experience of Electronic Data Processing out of which at least 2 years experience should be in actual computer Programming with EQ-A(c) OR 4 years experience of Electronic Data Processing work out of which at least 2 years experience should be in actual computer Programming with EQ-A(d). Note 1- Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Union Public Service Commission or Competent Authority for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note 2- The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.

Shall write, test, debug and implement the application programs in accordance with the specifications laid down by Deputy Director (Systems) / Joint Director (Systems), Additional Director (Systems) and Director (Systems) ii. Shall be maintaining the software programs with reference to further updations and optimization. iii. Shall supervise work of Data Processing Assistants. iv. Shall attend to other technical and administrative duties assigned by the superior officers.

Other Details	General Central Service, Group - A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The post is permanent.
